In your country, they have chosen to show Big jim by real (they took the real BJ to do some photos), but did they use, one day , the comic way ?

No, I have never seen animated BJ advertising in Sweden.
Much seems to be German catalogues/ads with the text translated into Swedish.

Too bad because I really like the comic/cartoon advertising pages from France and Italy.

Hope I can find some more Swedish ads in the future.

I really dont know if Big Jim was sold in Denmark, Norway and Finland.
When I was little, we were quite often in Copenhagen and of course looking in toy stores but I have no memory that we saw BJ toys there.
I know with certainty that we bought some Action Man/GI Joe stuff in these toy shops.
I can ask around and hope we can find out the answer !

I am currently working on finding the answer to this question.
On my boxed Camper I found this sticker which has the four Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish) on it.
Could be a clue but I will return when I know for certain.

HI,

Got hold of this very interesting advertising page from a Swedish comic book.
It is from 1972, and proves that Mark Strong also was for sale here in Sweden.
This is the first and only evidence that I have ever found of MS on the Swedish market.

The Hunt for more Swedish Big Jim related things continues ...
